About Rev. Norene Johnson
Rev. Norene L. Johnson was born and raised in Youngstown Ohio, to Theodore and Norma Jean Fagan. He mother passed away suddenly in 1977, and her father later married Katie Moore, and together they raised Rev. Johnson to adulthood.
Rev. Johnson accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 10 at Third Baptist Church, Youngstown, Ohio. She was licensed to preach to the gospel and exercise her gifts in the work of the ministry in 2008. She was later ordained to the gospel ministry in 2013 by authority of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Stafford, VA.
Rev. Johnson has served the church in many capacities over the years. She and now serves as an Associate Pastor of the Palm of Deborah Ministries, Inc.
Rev. Johnson is married to Deacon George A. Johnson, Sr., and she is also raising her grandson Michael J. Manatan-Blanch. Deacon Johnson and Rev. Johnson have a host of grown children and grandchildren who live in the immediate area.
Rev. Johnson’s favorite scripture is 1 Corinthians 13 with emphasis on the last verse: “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”
