Lead Pastor

Revered Andrea Hogan, the third of three children, is the daughter of Pastor Andrew L. Hogan, Jr. and Associate Pastor Rev. Dr. Charlene Hogan of Stafford Community Baptist Church. In addition, Rev. Dr. Charlene Hogan also serves as Pastor of Palm of Deborah Ministries, Inc. (The Palm) in Stafford, VA. Rev. Andrea currently serves as Minister of Curriculum and Instruction at The Palm. In January 2020, she was voted Pastor Elect and will be installed as the second Pastor of The Palm in March of 2021. She will alongside Pastor, Rev. Dr. Charlene Hogan. Rev. Andrea serve concurrently considers it a blessing to know the necessity of God’s Spirit, the power of prayer, and faith in God’s ability to answer all who call upon the name of the Lord.

Rev. Andrea was ordained to ministry at Michigan Park Christian Church (MPCC) in Washington, D.C. While under the leadership of Rev. Marvin J. Owens, Jr. and First Lady Barbara Owens, Rev. Andrea embraced her calling as an intercessor and prayer warrior in the kingdom. Standing in the gap for God’s people has become a spiritual staple and bedrock in her ministry.

Rev. Andrea has been called to motivate, encourage, empower and love all people towards wholeness through Jesus Christ; proclaiming a message of hope and awareness of divine purpose over their lives. A firm believer in lifelong learning, Rev. Andrea holds an earned bachelors and masters degree from Howard University’s School of Education and a Masters of Divinity degree from Howard University’s School of Divinity. She has pursued further study towards a Doctor of Ministry degree in Educational Leadership from Virginia Theological Seminary. Rev. Andrea currently serves as an educator for Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia. Rev. Andrea is committed to encouraging the people of God to put feet to the Gospel in their everyday lives.

Her prayer for all is… “May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If He said it, He’ll do it! ” – 1 Thessalonians 5: 23-24 (MSG)
